The urban sound symposium integrating the urban soundscape hackaton is organized from April 3rd til April 5th 2019 in Ghent, Belgium. This meeting will bring together experts and practicioners working in the area of urban sound. The symposium is organised around a single track of keynote talks on several topics of interest for urban sound planners. In addition, participants can present their own work in a poster session.
Register before December 1st 2018 at a reduced registration fee.
In parallel with the symposium, teams of up to four designers and audiovisual rendering specialists can compete in a hackaton for the urban soundscape award in the brand new library and audiovisual experience building: De Krook. Participants of the symposium will be invited to experience the hackaton results together with the international jury.
